Engineering philosophy
Systems are built to stay understandable, controllable, and portable. Infrastructure is not treated as a black box, but as part of the product itself.
This enables fast iteration, long-term stability, and the ability to adapt quickly when requirements change.
Infrastructure
Control over infrastructure is a core principle. Systems are designed to run independently of specific providers, without vendor lock-in or hidden constraints. Portable by default, DSGVO-compliant by design.
AI-first
Scaliir Digital is building towards a fully AI-augmented workflow. Agents handle research, code generation, testing, and deployment pipelines — with human judgment on architecture and product decisions. The goal is a one-person company with the output of an entire engineering team.
Open source
Open-source is a fundamental part of the workflow. Tools are built in the open where possible, and improvements are contributed back to the ecosystem — not consumed passively.
